My Poem of Broken Hearts and Sorrow
The rain slowly dropping...
hitting the ground softly...
or are those my tears?
The darkness surrounding me...
My sorrow, the only company I have...
Alone....
The one who I thought I loved...trusted...
Broke my heart...
Left the pieces to blow away in the wind...
Only Watched...
As I slowly... picked up the pieces...
No expression on his face...
No care,
No understanding,
No pity,
I bit my lips.
I held my tears...
Telling myself not to cry...
In front of the jerk...
The Horrible Jerk...
Who ripped my heart to shred...?
I looked at him one last time...
thinking," I shall move on"
My friend, my old love...
How sweet he was when he....
No...
"I must move on" I thought...
Easier...said ... than done...
