Saturday
The breeze moves the grass in translucent waves
It conforms to the curves and lines of my frame
I lay
Pale skin caressed by tendrils of natures feelers
Listening to the voices of life
Children run, chirping like birds
Watched by: lemonade drinking, cashmere wearing suburban mother.
Who are too concerned with celebrity gossip
than their children's safety.
I close my eyes to shapes and stars
Seeing music, listening to art
Letting the soft breeze rouse the hairs on my extremities
Exhaling all my thoughts to the sky
Inhaling clouds of wisdom
For now, I am content
