Walking into Purgatory
I’ve felt the gravel tremble
As dust wisps the sky
Fell the clock turning
In my mind’s eye
Regulating taxes
All on the floor
All these distractions, driving me insane
I can’t take it anymore
Every single moment
I turn the locksmith black
With coal on his cheeks
He just glares right back
Turns, works around
Everything I’ve left here
All my dreams turn to ashes
Scattered into soot
