You thought that yesterday was when it died
Along your spine runs a chill
Your eyes go wide
And for a moment your still
“Red and yellow
Meet violet and blue
Don’t be rude, say hello”
And then they do
This seems unworldly,
This seems like magic
But the only thing magical about it
Is that it happens every day
