Light To Dark, And Back Again
As you feed me excuses and lies
Dripping with that annoyed tone
That I got so used to
I block you out
Like I usually do
I can’t take it anymore
Soon enough
I’ll end up
Blocking out my whole life
As I make it crystal clear
That it revolves around you
And only you
I thought you were the sun that scared away the darkness
But you’re the darkness that scared away the sun
As I stand up
And slowly walk out of your house
That buzzing sound
Known as your voice
Finally stops ringing in my ears
You realized when to shut your mouth
Finally
So I walk out
Into the sun
I almost forgot what it looked like
It seems like it scared you away this time
Bye darkness
I won’t miss you
