I tried to paint a picture of you today
But I couldn't find the right colors for

Your hair, wrapped tight,
A silken noose, crushing my neck,
Your lips, forming utterances,
Discordant whispers, burned into my mind,
Your cheek, turned away, from me,
I can't remember your face.

And,
there really isn't a color,
For my eyes reflected in yours,
And, there really isn't a color
For the absolute,
wound
tearing my breast apart.
