I stare at my reflection
and start to wonder.
Am I the real me,
or are you?

Are you the one
making me move,
making faces,
or are you?

Am I the one
who stares,
untill we both blink,
or are you?

Or, maybe,
someone else is
moving us both,
But how?

Your copying
my every move,
or am I the one
copying you?

I guess we'll
never know
which one of us
is the real me.

The author's comments:
I used to think that if you looked into a puddle deep enough, you would end up trapped inside the puddle and the other you would take your place in the world. This is just the shorter version of my poem that came to me when I looked into a puddle a few days ago.
