No Violence
When life does you wrong,
Light something on fire.
Watch the flames consume that which you’ve chosen.
Imagine the person you’re angry at
Being nibbled by the flames.
If (for some reason) you continue to be angry,
Light something else on fire.
You’ll lose your anger eventually.
Or choke on the smoke.
Just don’t throw any punches.
Or light a house aflame.
Follow Lennon’s example.
Sing a song.
Write a poem.
Just no violence, ‘kay?
