The Grass Smells Red
Love, A battle field
On blood red grass
Whence all is fair
All is dead
Hearts beating
Breaths silent.
The grass smells red
The grassy battlefield
Gone red once more
Many drown
Deeper into depths
Chasms unknown
Seeing a sea of red
They fall downward
In a spiral
A spiral of disaster
They fall down
Silent thoughts
In mind
Thoughts of sorrow
In heads of disaster
They smell love,
They love adrenaline
They love the pain
They love the sorrow
The envy
The wrath
They’ve felt through rejections
As the grass turns pink
Then red…
The grass smells red
The grass smells love
As they fight
For only one
A beautiful, deadly woman
