You can never truly appreciate what's good in life until you have experienced what's bad.

I think I was meant to be a modern day philosopher
All I do is ponder the world
And our meaning of thinking
I find the easiest answers
To the hardest of questions
And realize that nobody is perfect
When you’d guess I’m superman
Expecting me to balance five things at once
All the while having time to smile
But I can’t do it
I just can’t do it
I’m not the four armed Shiva
I wasn’t meant to be a
Man of books for brains
Who can study and learn for days at a place
Where they suck out your soul
And tell you that the only way to go
Is with a fancy letter A written on all your papers
When true learning isn’t in a book
It’s in what you feel
And how it’s felt
And if you can realize that we all need help
But accept our faults
And let us be happy with who we are
You’ll never try to change them
You’ll only cause provocation
What’s inside is determination
To better yourself in how you see yourself
Forget what other’s think
You’re not alive to please a single one of them
Life is finding who you are inside
And the ones who accept you along the way
Are the ones you need to be beside
When angels and demons begin the fray.
