"Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds ways to kneel and kiss the ground." - Rumi

I seem to have lost myself
deep in this game,
of lying, cheating, and stealing---
it's all the same.

Disgusted with myself,
blaming others what for.
As I stare back at this mirage,
I ask you: 'What more?'

Who are you
to judge me now?
Taking none of the blame
as you break our solemn vows.

Locked inside
my own personal fix,
how could I have known
you'd turn my mind with tricks?

Mirror, mirror
on the wall,
please tell me now:
Who are you?

... And where did I go?

We all lose sight of who we are at one point or another. We must continually fight the crowd to prove we are our own.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take... but by the moments that take your breath away.

This is a great poem! You have talent.
