Doors
I once heard an
old saying. It went:
"When a door closes,
somewhere a window opens."
What is this "window?" A
glass pannel of opportunity,
perhaps? Where do I find
it? What if it's locked and
I fail to open it? What
if this opportune moment
eludes my grasp, falling away,
crumbling to dust before my
outstretched fingertips, slipping
through, leaving not a hint?
What shall I do after losing
all hope? Continue wandering
through this maze, this game,
this twisted game of deception?
Mirrors and smoke. Materializing,
decieving. Is anything real?
I wish someone would
just tell me which way
to go. Lead me, guide me.
Where are You now?
Lost to my eyes.
