"Don't cry that it's over, smile because it has happened."

The clocks are ticking
One by one
Time is lost
Never regained
Never found
Never existed
Number by number
Minute by minute
Hour by hour
The circle is always complete
It’s uncontrollable
Unmanageable
Out of my hands
The clocks are ticking
One by one
All around me
Dizzying
Nauseating
Deafening
Look around
At all the chaos
Of everything surrounding me
The banter
The tears
The blood
I look at the clocks
And they’re still ticking.

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

the rhythm in this poem works really well. its steady like the ticking of a clock. i really liked this poem!

You really have a knack for conveying different emotions - each poem of yours that I've read has expressed something different.

This is my favorite so far.  I could feel the anxiety, the stress, the lack of control.  Excellent :)

Wonderful flow, wonderful observations of clocks and what they mean to us. I could easily mistake this for a piece written by a well-established poet. Great job.

My time is linear.  Your time is linear.  Our time only exists when we are together.  Nice poem.
