Teenage Fairytale
Like all stories this one has a girl and a boy,
Her heart she thought he would destroy.
She desired to tell him how she felt,
And how he made her young heart melt.
‘This feeling I feel deep inside,
I hope in him I could confide.
My heart requires another half,
But I wish it could speak on my behalf.
As he looks upon me I feel enchanted,
Like my wish on a star finally granted.
If he were to declare his love to me,
Would I be able to agree?
I can’t explain why I seem unsure,
But all I want is to find a cure.
An ever after that would someday prevail,
Help me through this teenage fairytale.’
