Too Old for Ice Cream MAG

You say, “I'm too old for that.”
I say, “Too old for ice cream?
How can you be
Too old for a food?
Does age eat away
At your taste buds?
Does it flip a switch
And decide that at
55 and past your prime
There are foods
You can't consume?
Do you treat Time
Like you treat
Closet monsters?
Does it get to decide
The things on your mind
What you should like
What you should eat
Dad.
Why can't you just
Take a bite out of life
And eat this ice cream?”
He chuckles.
“I said I was too cold.”

I like it. It made me laugh. But, one thing that caught my eye was that at the beginning it says "you say," so at the end it should say "you chuckle" instead of he.
