I started writing these
Only yesterday
Yes
Ter
Day
And I like them
Poems
Rhythm
Beat
Different from stories
Letters
Essays
Books
But somehow of the same dough
Batter
Mixture
Cake
They make me feel more peaceful
Rest
Calm
Stress
All I do is
Type the words
As they come.

He's Dead Jim - DeForest Kelley as Doctor McCoy

Great POEM.

I even found it ironic for all those people who think free verse is not really poetry. Because it IS the best kind becuse it comes from your heart and you don't spend hours revising it. "Type the words as they come." =)

After seeing this poem, i doubt they would ever say free verse isn't poetry.

Beautiful use of words and images. I would really like to eat that cake of yours, if you're offering. And the way you split up yesterday was BRILLIANT. I can't get over how good it was. FAVORITE button.

Thanks for your gernerous comments, they are really appreciated becuse i'm just getting started.

You have inspired me to post some free verse poems.

THANK YOU!!!!!!
