The beats of tin drums speak for the beach.
Dark kids splash in the cold waves
While men stand with their toes buried in the warm sand
And a crisp beer perspirating in their hands.
Girls lie in their tiny bikinis,
Catching the sun and whispering secrets of the young men playing football on the shore.
Little boys cast away their fishing lines
As their dads cut bait for the next line.
The strong smell of chicken roasts on the barbeque.
Sunset cocktails fare welling the islands beast and life.
Only waiting for it to come back tomorrow.
