I've seen
I've seen a disaster happen in a day.
I’ve seen a whole community get destroyed in less than an hour.
I’ve seen people I know turn into people I knew.
I’ve seen total strangers pay for my meal because of where I was from.
I’ve seen people look at me funny because of the way I talk.
I’ve seen people listen to what happened.
I’ve seen people donate a lifes savings to help us.
I’ve seen a school get built in a little over a year so we could get a good education.
I’ve seen kids cry because of no reason, when inside, you know that they’re thinking about it.
I’ve seen people get excited because a Walmart was opening.
And then I’ve seen a miracle happen in a day.
I’ve seen a losing team win.
I’ve seen people say “WHODAT?” for months at a time.
I’ve seen a championship game win.
And I’ve seen a Superbowl win.
I’ve seen people cry over it.
And people rejoice because they’re prayers have been answered after 43 years.
