Old, with a barren rock face
Slamming rain into the pavement
Walking with your neck in a noose
I thought that was you
Lips cracked and dry
Eyes withering into a foggy cloud
A hanging chest
I could have sworn that was you
A knife in your hand
Scars all over your body that wrest their wild flame
Restraining every breath
