Concerts
-Ears ringing, dancing, memories that last-
Hour wait to get in the doors,
“We’re finally in!” *Screams*
Different smells passing as you walk around,
The sweet smell of adrenaline before you see one of your favorite bands,
Searching through the hundreds of seat or the open floor for you spot,
“Found it!” “Oh my God, look how close we are!”
The crew setting up the stage…
Hurry up already!
The stage clears and the lights go off,
The crowd roars, everyone stands and starts chanting the name of the band,
Music is playing but they aren’t on stage yet,
The crowd continues to scream,
Then suddenly the band jumps out and plays the first song getting the energy going,
The crowd sings along while dancing,
…Halfway through the concert,
The energy is at its peak,
At the end
The band leaves the stage and the crowd chants “Encore!”
They come out and play one more song and say “Thank you and goodnight!”
It’s over already…
“That was amazing!” everyone says as the lights come back on but the adrenaline still hasn’t gone away.
