A Look Into My Mind

Many people know my shell
They know my name, they know my face
They don’t know me
What I’ve done, what I’ve been through
What could I have possibly done?
They don’t ask
They suspect nothing of myself
I’m like an innocent little bird to them
The other side of me is secret
If my scars could be been seen
I’d be tattooed with all my shame, and what I am
A freak
