Are You There, Love?
The wind quietly whispers in my ear
Telling me to forgive her for her lies
She doesn’t know about the tears I’ve cried
Does our love really exist, or is it all just a fix?
She says she loves me
And I say the same
Her silent tears remind me of the rain
The mascara slowly running down her face makes me question our faith
Does our love really exist, or is it all a fix?
Does she know that I’m doing it too?
Does she know that I was in love with someone new?
Were we ever in love, can we rise above?
I still love her
She still loves me
Her love protects me like the shade of an oak tree
I know our love still exists
I don’t believe it was all a fix
True love can still be found
And no longer will our relationship be confound
