Of course I love poetry.
What teenager doesn't?
It's an escape
From the world
And it eases
The pain

Like ibuprofen
For your brain.
It opens your soul
And elates your mind
And gives you hope
Of every kind.
Life is fun
And perfect
But
Sit and write for awhile.
What teenager
Doesn't like poetry?
The boring kind
With bottled emotions
And bottle blonde hair.
So don't be boring
Don't follow the crowd.
Life is fun.
Write a while.
Yes I write poetry.
What teenager doesn't?

Let's just say that I know a lot of teenage poets-and the non-poets are sort of plastic.

I never realized that, but it's true. I think that maybe the non-poets might accually like to write but they are too insecure to show it, afraid of what people might think. But, in some cases, they really don't like to write.
