Never Ending Time
Pushing back, pushing back
the hands of time.
Stuck in fastforward...and rewind.
Grandfather clock ticking away,
Father time playing games.
Ten months becomes eleven, eleven
becomes twevel,
Twevel becomes thirteen
it goes on and on.
Endless hours spent alone,
Time going far too slow
Has the clock stopped?
Has time finally diminished?
Am I forced to forever suffer this
final last minute?
When will it end?
When will the clock run out?
Never the grandfather clock chimes out.
