Ode to the Ode
Ode, to the ode!
You point out the average, the strange, and the other.
You feel the feelings.
You see the sights.
You even hear the sounds.
You celebrate the things that must be celebrated.
Ode, you ode the very things that have to be oded.
Sometimes you accentuate the simple, or irk the marvelous.
You use large, eye catching words like ecstatic, infuriated, substantial and Yorkshire Pudding.
Thrusting the prickly switchblades of metaphors deep into our hearts is your duty.
Ode, I love you.
I want to live forever with your ode-nessy odeness.
Will you marry me?
Will you?
I love you ode, so very much.
Odes are cool.
