Then it goes off again.
The omnipresent flash
Camera-ready smile
They say stand up straight
They say move closer
They say “say cheese”
Now, posing for the hundredth time
My hands lay at my side
Unnaturally unmoving
My smile is frozen on my lips
Unnaturally unchanging
Please! Please!
Break the cycle and
Take a video next time
This bright white flash is blinding
Let the green spots fade...
