I am a person

Although I'm not perfect

I make mistakes

As humans often do

I cry

I sigh

And eventually

I'll grow old and die

I fall sometimes

When the road gets steep

I smile

I learn

I laugh and weep

I see the world

Through my own eyes

You can not treat me

Otherwise

I think it's so very important for us all to really recognize our own individual worth. If everyone could see just how valuable they were to the world, so many problems could be solved...
