Heaven's mournful tears
Showering down above
Driving into the ground
Piercing the Earth profound
Neglected scars tremble wailing
Uncovering our wounds, all but forgotten
Scourged by man's sinful nature
The Earth sings its dismal song
A requiem so beautifully transcribed
As it fades into the stars' masquerade
What can we do
To repent of our ways?
From the Earth, we have come
And with the Earth,
We shall fall
Forever lost in this shadowy abyss
Adrift amongst the Celestial Plain
Never to find our promised land

The author's comments:
For all you anime lovers out there, I was thinking of Romeo x Juliet when writing this! Haha, man. Loved that series.
