Sometimes I would wonder
About what happened to her
Did she ever feel so like a fool
To end what we once had?

Sometimes I would think
About the way her eyes glowed
Was she always like that
Or was I imagining?

Sometimes I would stare
About at nothing
What made her so special
That it broke my heart for her to go?

Sometimes I would sigh
About the day's dreariness
Could I ever forget
What happened between us?

Sometimes I would wish
About life that never was
Why was it her that
Shattered the thin pane of glass?

Sometimes I would sing
About the energy that went around
How could she disappear
Without a thought for me?
