My Other Side
the hardest thing to do
is fight yourself
you struggle to do the right thing
and not let the other side take over
you fight the impulses that want to control you
you want to run
but you can't run from your own mind
it gets harder to breathe
as the other one trys to take over
you do everything to fight it
it closes in on you
you fight for your own mind
struggling for control
you try not to go insane
you win,
for now but
the other one will be back
when you're even weaker and she just might win
