Do you remember? I do.
How we used to be friends,
How we were always together,
How our eyes would meet and we’d start smiling,
Do you remember? I do.
How we’d race,
And see who could swing the highest,
Do you remember how if we had to leave,
You’d say “bye bye butterfly”,
And I’d say “after a while crocodile”,
Do you remember?
I think not,
As you stand there after a year,
And say we are friends no more,
Do you remember? I do.
