"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but my the number of moments that take our breath away."

I can't even explain
This feeling I have
When I look at him
And he looks at me
Our eyes locked,
Holding each other's gaze

It's like I have so much love
And so much sadness and despair
Deep inside me
All at once

I want to rush over,
Hug him and never let go.
I want to drop my head in my hands
And let all the tears pour our of my eyes

It's like my heart is so full
With my love for him
Yet it's breaking,
Pieces scattered on the floor,
Covered in my salty tears

And I'm feeling both of these things
At once.
Two waterfalls crashing on me
From left and from right

Drowning me in the emotions
Of my heart
I gasp for air
As I try to survive
The gut wrenching pain

It's the love that gets me through
All the agony
All the despair

It's the love that's not returned
That causes my anguish
But the few rays of hope
I see shining out from your eyes
Gets me through each step I take
Every day
