Immortality,
It’s just a fantasy,
We all wish to live,
Never suffer the pain of death,
To learn and grow,
But never age....

It’s where our dreams lie,
To live forever,
To play this game,
We call life,
Forever....

It can’t be good,
To want this,
To lose everyone,
To death,
While you live forever,
Is it really worth it?

I thought it was,
I want to live forever,
But forever,
Without you,
Would never be worth,
Losing you....

The author's comments:
I dont know how to explain what inspired this poem..... basially this quote I wrote started it, "On a dark night like this... I always feel something cold and dreary hanging over my shoulder.... And I just want it to go away......" Not to sure how to explain it any better than that =)
