Drowning
Breathless
Stuck under this rusty disintegrating boat
No room to move
No strength to think
Just frozen
Wondering if my life is about to end
Panicking
Screaming
Stuck in this death pool from centuries ago
No courage to remember
Nowhere to go
Just sinking
Wondering if I will be the next to leave this world.
Fearful
Distraught
Stuck on my own
No one to help
No one to witness
Just powerless
Wondering when my lungs will finally burst.
One last breath.
One last look.
One last shadow of this anguish.
