Beige. An overlooked hue
Boring, dull yet prominent all around
The beige of the millenary specks
When incandescent rays blaze on the barren terrain
The change of grasslands
When fall meets winter
The bentonite clay on the summit
When volcanic ash weathers
The buff of wheeled rows
When harvest waits patiently in the heat of August
The calmness but growing vivacity of the horizon
When the fiery yellow is met with the transparent white
The shore at twilight
When complimented by the Mediterranean, lucent, aqua sea
My serenity- beige, the warmth of brown and the crisp, coolness of white, severed from the world when contemplation ensues.

The author's comments:
I was inspired by the outdoors. Greens, blues, and browns often get recognized, but I feel the color, beige, is often overlooked It holds a significant contribution to nature's beauty.
