Do unto others as you wish them to do to you
Words said true

Think it through;
Now what do they mean to you?

As surely as the sky is blue
I practice this great virtue

Yet conforming was the hue
So with this I flew

Away from the fear and I renew
Thoughts to be long overdue

With rue I forgot what I believed to be true
And so now I begin anew

I construe now what was waxed
Melted down and one with Pax

A debut now queued
To be illuminated and true

With this I find my personal sanctity
So why make me plead my insanity?

Beg of me to return
Beg of me to pursue

Yet I only wonder why you are you
I tried to inquire, yet it ended in disdain

You tried to make it my bane
Attempted to reverse my brain

Pain you sought to distill in me
Now you are as vile as the words that flow from your mouth

The noxious vile fumes that erode your logic
The bile produced in waste

For now you speak in hate
You speak in hate of my own very fate

You speak in tenses and perspective
Of your own divine

So here lie the line
Let it not be crossed until time

Just as the moon
And the brine

When the tides have turned
And the hate has burned

Then and then only
May you deliver my fate

It was okay. I am not a big fan of rhyming poetry. But this was good. Keep writing. Please check out my work. Ratings and feedback are GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
