Losing a Part of Yourself
With each lie I draw
I slowly lose myself more and more.
As people keep turning heads
and blind their eyes my soul
sinks and every night I cry
for the girl who was once
me.
I speak and no one seems to
hear me.
I constantly people-please
but no one's happiness or
interest in me has gained value.
I no longer know what is right and wrong to say.
I long not to care but tears keep
flowing,
heads keep turning,
and no one stops to think.
