Numb [Confession]
When you feel so alone
And know only one way to numb the pain
But if you know that numbing yourself this way
Only hurts those around you
Do you still take that path?
The pain and loneliness fills you inside
And the frustration floods your mind
Finally you give in
And you take that path
You find that razor in your drawer
You cautiously hold the familiar item of self destruction
You put its cold, sharp edge up against your flesh
And you carefully slide it down
Your mind races with emotions
As warm bright red blood oozes out of your newly open wound
You subconsciously continue, deeper every time
And your eyes flood
You feel weak and give in to the darkness
What have I done?
