A best friend’s poem
Hey how are you?
How’s your day?
What’s new?
Did I already say hey?
I’m glad to see you
I haven’t seen you since yesterday
It’s been so long I could cry, boohoo
Now I’m done, what do you want to play?
What about hide-n-seek or even chess
We can play anything at all
As long as we don’t make a big mess
If we do my mom won’t let me call
That’s my mom calling for dinner
I’ll see you tomorrow
We can then find out who’s the real winner
Oh, don’t forget the shirt I let you borrow
