The only words I ever think are
'What about me?'
You never glance my way,
Never open your eyes so you can see.

I see you with all the other girls,
They always look so fine.
You'd never be able to understand
How much I wish that you were mine.

I love the way you smile,
And how you're always so caring.
But I doubt that all the pretty girls
Would be up for a little sharing.

If I could tell you three words,
They would be that I love you.
And, as much as you may not believe them,
They are 100% true.

I may not be beautiful, or even pretty.
But I think you should look beyond the outside.
If you saw some of my inside,
I'm sure you'd be tongue tied.

I know I can't make you love me.
I can't even make you like me.
But when I think about love,
You're all I see.

So I'll continue my life,
Even though I won't be able to forget about you.
I can only wish that you would realize that of everybody's love for you,
Only mine is true.

The only words I ever think are
'What about me?'
You never glance my way,
Never open your eyes so you can see.
