Hold the closest things to heart,
Let the rain wash away your tears,
Feel the cold pierce your soul,
Welcome warmth that wipes it clear,
Walk in light and shine in shade,
Love the time you're here to stay.

Time is but a measure of space,
Eternal and forever,
But where do you stand?

Find where you rise,
Soar when you fall,
When body meets mind,
And mind to soul,
There comes the time when you know,
A thousand suns, a trillion worlds,
Here you rest, as one whole.

Drop off the edge,
Let yourself go,
Where is the end?
You cannot know,
Remember now,
Do not forget,
Each fear you break,
Will slow your pace.
Tossed and twisted,
You'll come to rest,
Look in the mirror,
You are the best.

A world so vast, but here you lay,
Follow yourself each given day,
You are loved,
Just stay true,
There is no one,
Quite like you.

Very awesome poem! Good rhythm and rhyming scheme, it flows really well. Definitely got the emphases I think you wanted me to get...good way of looking at life!
