A real woman isn't perfect, and a perfect woman isn't real.

As I hide behind my mask
The voices Start to fade
I’m ready to reveal myself
So I end this masquerade

The years I have kept to myself
Hiding behind this door
Reality is sinking in
The illusion is no more

I See my own reflection
Not recognizing what I see
This Lonely Little girl
Realizing she is me

The mask I've always worn
The tears that were behind it
The mistakes I have made
I wish I could rewind it

My mind is lost in pieces
I wish they were put together
The thoughts that cross my mind
I wish they were gone forever

The emotions that I feel
The depression that has built
Most things that I Imagine
Make me fill up with guilt

So I will take of this mask
That I've been hiding behind so long
Hoping that you'll accept me
Because now I’m strong

i really like this. it's something i can relate to. i also like how the rhyme scheme is so subtle. if you would like to comment on any of my work, it would be greatly appreciated.
