AGAIN AND AGAIN
In relation to the
Past, present, and future,
We drop our heads for the disgraced
And honor the loved
We now are here as a whole, we can’t lose.
Nothing can be separated within the boundaries of
What we hold dear.
A bounty is struck with a new realization
A mistake is all it takes before we are
Ripped into ourselves.
The slivers of Now
And the blots of Then.
The destinies of our mistakes mesh together,
Another patch on the blankets of time.
Another thread, another bond, stronger.
Our stubbornness saved us, loved us, and let us go.
As close as it gets, the final breath of ourselves
Is lost to the air
And is forgiven
And we give ourselves away to
Be more than we can Be.
In relation to the past, the memories of tomorrow and
The dreams that are here…
