I call you baby
hoping one day
the girl you love
will be me
I hold onto you
cause I know something’s there
I just don’t get it
when I’m all screwed up
you still care
try to reason with me
try to get me to see
I’m worth more
then being treated like dirt on the floor
as usual
my jumbled mind
confuses that notion for love
you don’t realize
the thought of being without you
drives me insane
maybe one day
the girl you love
will be me
