waves crash
soft white foam rims them welcoming
hand pounding
he holds it to tight
anxious
yet careful
idly we walk into the foam
water
at our hips now
he screams
JUMP!
i follow
that protective hand guides me everywhere
the sun fades
i still wont go under
he waits
like the big shirt i wear
protecting me from the sun
i trust him
he knows
as the waves roll towards us
we dive hand in hand
my brother,
our memory
