Tears after sorrow
Slowly…
The rain begins to fall,
With each drop,
The storm gets stronger,
The wind pushes in bursts,
Shaking the very earth that holds it,
And with every drop the ground gets colder,
Damper,
Mixing the elements together as one,
Separated only by sky and earth,
The barrier is broken,
And the cool rain floods from the sky,
Overbearing to the earth,
The ground begins to tremble,
Shake,
And tear itself apart,
Held together only by the fire that burns inside it,
The world is weak from this rain,
But it shall always remain,
For the earth is not alone,
And it will not be long,
For the earth will soon feel the warmth,
Of heaven’s embrace,
Slowly…
The rain begins to fall,
With each drop,
Tears…
