Open Thine Eyes
I just wish I could go there
A place where nothing matters
Not the clothes on my back
Or the way my hair falls
Where I can be myself
I'm stumbling in the darkness
Can you see me
Or are your eyes closed as well
I want to open them
So maybe we can all be one
Yet the day has not come
and we continue to live on pedestals
Forver competing for the invisible prize
that really has no value
Except that of self fullment and vanity
Neither of which mean anything
