Bruise
So dark
So angry
You're painful and ugly
You blemish my skin
You force me to cover my knees
To aviod being seen
Your darkest point
Is small and purple
But you fade outward
Like shading from a pencil
On my white, paper skin
Reminding me of pain
Of shame
Of memories not needed
You will heal in time
And I will forget you
But until then
You occupy your station
With angry pride
And vengful confidence
Holding your position of power
For as long as you can
A black mark on my leg
