Only Me
Me
Who am I?
No one knows,
Only me.
People know my name,
They know me by sight,
But not by my soul.
They know I’m quiet,
But that’s all.
They think I’m shy,
But I’m not.
They call me weird,
A freak,
Crazy even,
But they cannot bring themselves
Or cannot think,
To say that one word
That really describes me:
Different.
They don’t come near me,
They’re scared of me,
So I walk alone always,
And no one joins me in this battle,
To bring true individuality,
For that is what I am doing.
Would you?
