Gift From Above
The words that I write now
Are emotions of an unknown how
We say we feel what we feel
But can not define it as something real
We let it consume our life
And don’t even bother asking why
To many it feels like a need
Yet it can’t truly be seen
We always try to find it
And ironically we become blind when we have it
It is a treasure to many
One of the few worth dying
Many say it is the last remnant of honesty and truth
As if by obtaining it, one becomes pure
It is the greatest give from above
We simply call it love
